Jason Lu is a Founding General Partner at Later Capital, where he leads fund strategy, thesis development, and investments across AI, frontier tech, energy, and life sciences. He co-founded Later with the belief that the best returns come from backing what most funds think is too early — the foundational systems that will still matter in fifty years.

Jason's background spans public markets, technology research, and venture, with a focus on translating complex systems into investment theses. His approach centers on patience, long-horizon thinking, and the conviction that returns and responsibility aren't tradeoffs.

Jason is based in Los Angeles and will be attending NYU in the fall. He speaks English and Mandarin.
